American Express and Accor launch loyalty partnership across 12 markets

American Express and ALL Accor, the booking platform and loyalty program of the hotel group Accor, announced a global partnership on July 22 that introduces elite status matching and a points transfer option for eligible card members, according to a joint release issued in Paris. The partnership rolls out in phases from 2026 across Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Consumer, small business and corporate Platinum card members will be eligible for ALL Accor Gold status, which carries free Wi-Fi, welcome amenities, late check-out, room upgrades subject to availability and bonus loyalty points. Separately, eligible card members gain the option to transfer Membership Rewards points into the ALL Accor program, with conversion ratios varying by market, the companies said.

“This collaboration reflects our continued focus on delivering premium travel value and meaningful rewards for our Card Members,” said Suzanne Morel, senior vice president for international products and partnerships at American Express.

Mehdi Hemici, chief loyalty and e-commerce officer at Accor, said in the release that the card issuer’s premium membership base suits the group’s luxury portfolio. Accor operates more than 45 brands worldwide, among them Raffles, Fairmont and Sofitel, and transferred points can also be redeemed across dining, experiences and more than 110 partners.

Parts of the arrangement are already live. Platinum card members in the United Kingdom received Accor Gold status last month, and Membership Rewards transfers have gone live in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, according to the loyalty publication The MileLion. The United States is not among the 12 markets in the announcement.

Further country-specific details will be released during the year, the companies said. American Express reports second-quarter results on July 24.
