Repayd and Nezasa partner to bring travel-specific payments to tour operators
Repayd, a UK payments company formerly known as Trust My Travel, has entered a strategic partnership with the Swiss travel technology provider Nezasa, giving tour operators access to travel-specific payment infrastructure directly within Nezasa’s TripBuilder platform, according to a report published July 22 by FF News.
Repayd’s payment solutions are built specifically for the travel and airline industries, according to German trade publication fvw. Through the new integration, tour operators worldwide gain access to flexible, travel-specific payment functions directly inside the Nezasa platform, fvw reported.
Nezasa, founded in Zurich in 2012, provides a software-as-a-service platform used by tour operators, travel agencies, online travel agencies and destination management companies to plan, book and manage travel itineraries, including hotels, flights, excursions and rental cars. Its TripBuilder product previously supported Stripe as a payment provider for its customers, according to the company’s own partner listings.
The tie-up follows a separate partnership Repayd announced in March with the global payment and treasury platform SUNRATE, unveiled at the ITB Berlin travel trade show, combining SUNRATE’s cross-border payment and treasury infrastructure with Repayd’s specialist travel merchant acquiring.
Travel remains one of the more complex sectors in payments, spanning multiple currencies, jurisdictions and settlement timeframes across bookings and suppliers. Repayd markets itself as providing global merchant accounts for tour operators designed to simplify international payments, multi-currency transactions and complex itineraries, according to the company’s website.
